Jessica Simpson wants body back

Jessica Simpson is 'ready' to have her 'body back'.

The 31-year-old star is due to give birth to her and fiance Eric Johnson's first child next month and while she has enjoyed not having to watch what she eats or stick to a strict work out regime, she now can't wait to have the baby.

Jessica - who has gained 40lbs during her pregnancy - said: ''I had a great pregnancy. Eating and not having to worry too much about it has been fun.

'Taking a break from working out has definitely been fun. But I'm ready for it to be over. I'm ready to have my body back! I feel like I could pop at any second.'

Jessica knows she is expecting a little girl and while she thinks Eric will be an 'unbelievable' parent, she isn't sure how well he will deal with styling the youngster's hair.

She told the new issue of Britain's HELLO! magazine: 'Eric is going to be an unbelievable dad. I can't wait to see if he can master ponytails and braids!'

During the interview, the 'Fashion Star' judge also revealed her recent baby shower - which was attended by stars including her sister Ashlee and actress Jessica Alba - had a 'Charlotte's Web' theme because the classic tale of a friendship between a pig and a spider was her favourite book as a child.
