Jessica Simpson has had "a great pregnancy," but she's ready for the joys of motherhood.

Simpson, 31, who still has a few weeks to go before her due date, has been making therounds on the talk show circuit promoting Fashion Star, where she has been really open about her baby, which is a girl, as well as her pregnancy.

Last week, she revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she's expected to give birth to a baby bigger than 8 pounds. She says that's because her fianc is a football player.

"They said definitely over eight [pounds]," she said. "There is only one [baby], there is only one girl But I did get knocked up by a baller ... A big football player."

This week, Simpson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, to explain why she appears so big, besides being "knocked up by a baller" if she's only having one baby.

"Apparently I have a lot of amniotic fluid," she said. "So whenever my water breaks it will be like a fire hydrant! And let's hope it doesn't happen tonight!"

Simpson, though, is ready for labor and is ready for pregnancy to be over.

"I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting on my hoo-ha!" Simpson said "I'm ready to push."

''At this point, I'm really ready," she added to People. "I'm not sleeping very well; she moves all the time. I had a great pregnancy, but I'm ready for it to be over!''

She says if she gives birth to a 10 pound baby, "pray for me."
