Jessica Simpson opens up about pregnancy sex

Jessica Simpson, who is pregnant with her first child, says her current sex drive makes her "unstoppable" in the bedroom.

The 31-year-old pop singer and mentor on the new NBC show "Fashion Star" made her comments in an interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show.

"I am definitely 'feeling intimate,'" Simpson told Seacrest. "I'm kind of unstoppable right now. The Big O is, like, the biggest O ever!"

Of her fianc, 32-year-old former NFL pro Eric Johnson, the singer said,! "He's a lways ready."

When asked if she was "used to" being pregnant, the singer said that she was actually "over it" and joked that she is ready to carry her daughter, "in my arms and not my belly."

Simpson appeared nude on Elle magazine's April cover, which appears to be an homage to Demi Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair picture (see photos of female celebrities who have posed nude and pregnant).

When asked about her cover shoot, Simpson told Seacrest that it was her idea to pose nude.

"I'm like 170 pounds and I wanted to pose nude," Simpson said. "I try to be like 110 pounds. It's funny to be at your heaviest and feel the most confident. I just take such pride in being a mom! I just love my body more than ever now."

Jessica Simpson rose to fame with the MTV show "Newlyweds," which aired between 2003 and 2005 and starred her then-husband Nicky Lachey, whose current wife Vanessa is also pregnant. On the show, Simpson famously uttered the phrase, "Is this chicken what I have, or is this fish? It says Chicken By The Sea. So stupid," while eating tuna.

Since the series, Jessica Simpson has also become known for her $1 billion fashion empire. She and fellow fashion designers Nicole Richie and John Varvatos are mentors on the NBC show, "Fashion Star," which airs on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET. Supermodel Elle Macpherson is the host.

"Fashion Star" sees contestants competing to become the next big fashion designer. The judges are buyers from major retailers such as H&M and Macy's.
