Jessica Simpson says contractions 'scare the living daylights' out of her (Video)

Just a few weeks away from labor, a very pregnant Jessica Simpson is certainly not on bed rest. Instead of taking it easy, the Fashion Star judge has been slipping on six-inch heels to promote her new reality competition show. Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jay Lenos The Tonight Show this week, Simpsons pregnancy was a hot topic during the interviews.

During her appearance on Ellen, she stated that the baby is not due for another few weeks.

In disbelief, the comical talk show host said, No you dont.

When looking at Simpsons belly, you would agree with DeGeneres and think she was due at any moment. However, she once again confirmed on The Tonight Show that there is some time.

Simpson also disclosed that she has been experiencing pre-labor contractions.

You have these things called Braxton Hicks which are these contractions that scare the living daylights out of you. So, like in the middle of the night Im like Eric! Its happening! she said.

The 31-year-old clothing designer also revealed on Ellen that when she and fiance Eric Johnson call their baby girl by her name, Simpson can feel a kick.

Simpson and Johnson may already have a baby on the way but that doesnt mean the couple will forgo a wedding ceremony.

I want him to be my husband so bad. I do want to wear a pretty gown and everything, but we have to wait until after the baby, Simpson explained.
