New mom Jessica Simpson gushes about Maxwell

It's a very special first Mother's Day for Jessica Simpson, who gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew less than two weeks ago on May 1. The new mom jumped onto Twitter Saturday to admit to a shopping addiction where her little girl is concerned.

"I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy! She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!" Simpson gushed.

A few days before, Simpson tweeted about how much she has bonded with Maxwell, who weighed in at nearly 10 pounds when she was born.

"I am so in love with baby Maxwell. I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced," she wrote.

Maxwell's dad is former NFLer Eric Johnson, who proposed to Simpson in November 2010. Maxwell is the first child for both.
