"Everyone meet the prettiest lil lady in the world, Maxwell Drew Johnson," Simpson Tweeted with a link to the magazine's cover.

The 31-year-old singer and her fianc Eric Johnson welcomed their baby on May 1 and she told the magazine that "life has completely changed."

"From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything," Simpson told People. "We stare at her all the time... We can't get enough!"

Simpson and her 32-year-old fianc Eric Johnson, announced the arrival of Maxwell Drew on Tuesday, May 1. This is the first child for Simpson and Johnson, a former football player.

"Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. Nine pounds, 13 ounces, 21 3/4 inches. We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!"

The singer-turned-business woman delivered Maxwell via C-section and is recovering from surgery and nursing her new addition.

Simpson was criticized online for putting on much weight during her pregnancy and in April, slammed tabloid reports that said she had already welcomed her child.

Simpson announced on May 30 that she would be the newest spokes model for the Weight Watchers weight loss program. She Tweeted, "So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!"

Simpson famously posed nude for ELLE magazine, which appears to be an homage to Demi Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair cover (see photos of female celebrities who have posed nude and pregnant).

She a nd Johnson, her second fianc, got engaged on November 11, 2010. The singer was previously married to pop star Nick Lachey and the two had their own MTV reality show, "Newlyweds," which aired between 2003 and 2005. He has since remarried and his wife, television personality Vanessa Minnillo, is pregnant with his first child.

Jessica Simpson is also become known for her $1 billion fashion empire. She and fellow fashion designers Nicole Richie and John Varvatos are mentors on the NBC show, "Fashion Star."
