Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey have been divorced since 2005. Since that time each one of them have moved on with their love lives -- on May 1, 2012, Simpson welcomed a daughter, Maxwell, with fianc, Eric Johnson, and Lachey announced he is expecting with wife, Vanessa Lachey, on March 5, 2012.

Even though Simpson and Lachey are no longer husband and wife, it doesn't look like there is any bad blood between them. According to Hollywoodlife.com, Lachey sent Simpson a gift while she was still in the hospital.

"A large basket of pink and white cookies were delivered to Jessica's hospital room at Cedars-Sinai earlier from Nick and Vanessa," an unnamed source told Hollywoodlife.com. "The basket was delivered by Cookies By Design and included seven huge cookies with adorable baby girl decorations."

Simpson and Lachey began dating in 1999, when Simpson toured with Lachey's group, 98 Degrees, to support the release of her first album. In October of 2002, Simpson and Lachey married in California and the wedding special aired on MTV.

In 2003, Simpson's and Lachey's reality show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," premiered on MTV. The show followed Lachey and Simpson as they navigated their lives as newlyweds. The hit series displayed a goofy, ditzy side of Simpson not many had seen before, which spawned some pretty hilarious tabloid fodder. In one episode Simpson asked Lachey if "Chicken of the Sea" tuna was actually chicken and if Buffalo wings were made out of actual buffalos.

In 2005, Simpson and Lachey announced they were separating, and their divorce was finalized the next! year. A t the time, the split seemed relatively amicable -- neither bad mouthed the other in public.

When Lachey was asked about Simpson's engagement in 2010, he had nothing but nice things to say about his ex-wife.

"I will say the same thing I always say: I wish her the very best," he said to Us Weekly.

Lachey and Simpson are not the only Hollywood exes that have remained friendly over the years.

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton

The couple were famously enamored (or was it obsessed?) with each other while they were married; wearing viles of each other's blood around their necks, bragging about having sex in limos before awards shows and making out on numerous red carpets. But, the romance was short lived; after only a two-month courtship and a three year marriage, their divorce was finalized in 2003. The two, however, have remained friendly over the years with Thornton not having anything but nice things to say about Jolie and Jolie penning an introduction for Thornton's book, "The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts."

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

For years, tabloids have promoted a so-called feud rift between these famous exes, with further bad blood between Aniston and Angelina Jolie. Aniston and Pitt have never commented negatively about each other in the press, except for Aniston saying Pitt lacked a "sensitivity chip" after posing with Jolie and model kids as a family in W magazine in July 2005 - only four months after Pitt and Aniston separated. Since then Pitt and Jolie have become engaged and have six children together and Aniston is in a happy relationship with Justin Theroux. The exes reportedly couldn't be happier for one another.
