Jessica Simpson's Parents Battle It Out For Divorce Money?

It doesn't look like Jessica Simpson's parents will be settling their divorce any time soon, with her dad Joe reportedly demanding as much as he can get from Tina. She's already offered him $100m of her $300m fortune, but that's just not enough!

A new report claims Joe Simpson is so reportedly desperate for more cash, he's trying to move the ongoing divorce battle from Texas to California. The recently outed father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson believes a judge in Los Angeles will look more favorably upon his misdemeanours than one in Texas!

A source told RadarOnline that he thinks hes likely to receive a better financial settlement in the no-fault divorce state. Better than $100m? We reckon that's seriously greedy...

The insider revealed how the singer's father is pushing for a bigger stake in Jessica's lucrative clothing company, which earns Tina a large chunk of her money.

Joes desperate to get his hands on the pot of gold and is pushing his lawyers to move the case to Los Angeles", he said.

"Texas is both a fault and a no-fault divorce state, so hes concerned that Tina may be favored by a judge there, after all she was the one that filed and is seemingly the wronged party. So, by moving the divorce to California, which is a no-fault divorce state only, Joe thinks he will likely get more sympathetic treatment and hopefully a larger chunk of Tinas wealth."

Last year, Tinas earnings were in the millions, while Joe only made around $200k, the source said.

This was down to Tinas percentage pay from the Jessica Simpson Collection, which she manages."

Joe wants a more even distribution of the wealth. Tina has already offered him a settlement of around $100 million, bu! t Joe is holding out for even more.
