Joe Simpson has been dealing with gay rumors ever since the news broke that he and Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpsons mom were divorcing. After weeks of being the center of these rumors, Jessica Simpsons dad is finally talking and he wants the world to know that he is NOT gay!
A few weeks ago, Tina and Joe Simpson announced that they were divorcing after 34 years of marriage. It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time, the couples rep told numerous media outlets.
But ever since that news broke, rumors have been buzzing the web claiming that Joe Simpson is actually gay, and that is the real reason that the couple split up. One site even went as far as to claim that Joe was dating a male model, but folks were quick to dismiss that as nothing more than a ploy for attention on the models part.
Now, after a few weeks of dealing with the rumors, Joe Simpson is speaking out, and he wants everyone to know that he is not gay. According to TMZ, they caught up with some pals of Joe Simpson, and they all reiterated that Jessicas dad is not gay. Got it? Good! The man insists he is not gay, so it must be true, right? Sure.or he is simply afraid to come out. Those close to the family seem to be split on what to believe at this point. Does it really matter anyway?
