Jessica Simpson's relationship with her father Joe is reportedly deteriorating following the break up of her parent's marriage after 34 years.

Despite being the manager for the Fashion Star judge, Jess has allegedly been desperate to avoid her father as she continues to come to terms with the shock of the last few months.

Joe has been respectfully turning up at NBC at times he knows Jessica won't be there, a source told Radar Online.

Its the only way that it could have worked, because Jessica is struggling to work with him around her.

Jessica comes in, fulfills her work requirements and leaves, and then Joe comes in later to check in with producers and conduct any meetings that are needed."

The claims come as Joe was sentenced in his recent DUI conviction, to which he pleaded no contest. According to People, the 54-year-old was sentenced to three years probation.

Joe has completely denied all allegations about reasons behind his split with wife Tina.

A family rep told Entertainmentwise at the time the divorce was confirmed that no third parties were involved and any claims contrary to that are false.
