Jessica Simpson 'Steps In To Help Her Mum' During Divorce Battle

After the birth of her first child, Maxwell Drew Johnson, in May, Jessica Simpson should be having the time of her life enjoying her new family but instead she is apparently looking after her mum.

Tina Simpson filed for a divorce on the 24th September, with a spokesperson stating, "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time."

The momager is currently living with Jessica because the situation with estranged husband Joe became unbearable. She's been hearing rumours about his sexuality for a long time but he continues to deny them.

54-year-old former minister Joe pled not guilty to having affairs with younger men but it seems Tina had been creating distance between her and her husband many months ago. She is said to be sick with worry as to where the rumours are coming from.
