The singer posted two photos of her 6-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew with Simpson's fiance and Maxwell's dad, Eric Johnson, on her website. "I am so grateful for my new lil family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone," she wrote with the two photos.

Simpson, 32, welcomed her first child on May 1. Simpson has been making headlines recently for her battle with the weight she gained from her pregnancy. The singer is a spokesperson for Weight Watchers and debuted a slimmer figure at Dillard's at International Plaza on November 17.

ABC News reported that she has lost 60 pounds since giving birth in May. Simpson told the outlet in September that she gave up macaroni and cheese, her favorite pregnancy craving, and that: "After having the baby, I've had to really, really focus and start training."

Simpson, who is 5'4" tall, has said in the past that when she posed nude and pregnant on the April 2012 cover of Elle Magazine, she weighed 170 pounds.

Simpson is also a successful fashion mogul. She is also gearing up for the second season of her reality show "Fashion Star." NBC announced in October that Louise Roe, Glamour Magazine's Fashion Editor-At-Large, will host the reality show's new season. The show does not yet have a premiere date but is expected to debut "early next year," according to a statement from the network.
