Jessica Simpson under fire for 4-month-old daughter photographed in yellow bikini

Jessica Simpson has stirred up a bit of controversy because of a photo she presented on Katie Courics show, showing her 4-month-old daughter, Maxwell, in a yellow bikini.

Critics started bashing Simpson saying that having her infant daughter in a yellow bikini for the world to see was inappropriate.

Surely Jessica as well as Katie had seen no harm done with the picture. Katie even tweeted, How cute was that pic of @jessicasimpsons little girl??? #toocute #AreYouReadyFor @KatieShow!

According to The Daily Mail, Jessica received the most critique from British based child welfare charity Kidscape, who accused her for sexualizing her baby girl.

Claude Knights, the director of Kidscape went on to say, It is very disturbing to see a young baby presented to the world wearing a bikini. Celebrity choices carry great influence, as can be seen by the manner in which their accessories and manners are copied widely, via The Examiner.

Knights went on to add that people shouldnt compromise the sanctity of early childhood and that placing babies in bikinis contributes to commercialization of childhood.
