Jessica Simpson made her official post-baby body reveal, along with a major announcement.

On Mondays premiere of Katie Courics new talk show, Katie, Simpson made her much-anticipated debut of her new body, revealing how much weight shes lost, opening up about the challenge and a lot of pressure to lose the weight.

During pregnancy, I didnt really think about it, Simpson said. I thought my doctors were telling me that it was just a lot of water and whenever my water broke my whole entire stomach would go down but that did not happen. All the weight did not come out with the baby.

The Fashion Star mentor revealed she lost more than 40 pounds since giving birth to her first-born Maxwell Drew Johnson in May. Simpson weighed 170 pounds at her highest when she posed nude while pregnant for the April cover of Elle. (The pint-size reality star-turned-designer is 5 ft., 4-in. tall.)

During her pregnancy, Simson signed a $3 million dollar contract to be the next celebrity spokesperson for Weight Watchers, saying shes only 10 pounds away from her pre-baby weight and how her daughter is helping her reach her weight goal.

I basicall! y take her with me, whether its strapping her on me or strolling around the neighborhood, the blonde said. My new goal is 14,000 steps a day.

Even though Simpson has made great strides in her weight loss, her food cravings are still something she battles.

I feel like what made me eat more is my hormones and breastfeeding. Ive never wanted chocolate more in my life, she said. "Ive had to really stay focused and focus on my diet and concentrate on what Im putting in my body.

Simpson also revealed in a recent interview with Us Weekly, her boobs are too large for her to run, so she stick with walking as part of her workout for now.
