Jessica Simpson is to take legal action against USStar magazine after it claimed that her fiance, Eric Johnson, cheated on her with ex-wife Keri.

The US tabloid has angered Simspson after printing on its front cover a photo of the couple titled "Eric Cheats on Jessica!". Written underneath this was, "Fiance Caught - With His Ex".

A "friend" told the magazine, "He was sleeping with both of them at the same time".

The Dukes of Hazzard star's camp maintain that the magazine is fabricating lies.

Simpson's representative told GossipCop.com about the couple's plan to sue Star because they have "had enough of this tabloid defaming them".

Star have yet to comment.
