Jessica Simpson still sad; new story about her dads rumoured boyfriends might be why

Jessica Simpson is sad, everybody. Sad enough that People magazine is reporting on how she's feeling. Sad in a way you can only feel if your mom and dad are breaking up (while the National Enquirer reports on the proceedings).

To recap: the sometime pop star's parents, Tina and Joe Simpson, confirmed their split last week, after 33 years of marriage. Joe, as per the National Enqurier, is now rumoured to be dating a 21-year-old male model -- which is ostensibly why anyone cares about Jessica's case of the sads, in the first place. But in a statement released to People magazine, the estranged couple's rep said: "It is an amicable split and there is not third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time."

Since then, Jessica's mom was photographed by Us Weekly in Los Angeles -- looking "serene and giggly" while on a Sunday lunch date with friends. As for Joe, 54, the magazine found him elsewhere in L.A. Saturday, playing a game of golf.

Stars' parents: they're boring, just like ours!

But not boring enough to escape the attention of RadarOnline, who also found "Papa Joe" hitting the links Saturday with a few friends, none of whom fit the description of a 20-something male model.

This, so you know, is weird for him.

"Joe has always played golf at his swanky club MountainGate on Saturdays at 12:30 p.m. with a much younger, 20-something male, who isn't a member," some snitch told RadarOnline. "Joe's golfing buddy is extremely good looking and Joe is very, very secretive about his identity. Joe never writes the guest's name on the sign-in sheet and never allows any other members to join in while they play golf, which is very, very odd. Interestingly, this past Saturday Joe allowed two other guys to join him and his older friend on the course, which usually is a total no-no with his young buddy."

The source continued: "Everyone noticed that after reports surfaced that Joe was gay, he didn't play with his regular young, good looking friend this past Saturday, but played with someone much, much older."

Which might be nice for a change? Because RadarOnline's report suggests Joe's been hanging out with younger dudes lately -- ones who've yet to learn their manners.

As per RadarOnline, Joe's usual guest at MountainGate is a "rugged, wannabe skinny actor" who "looks very out of place at the country club." Their source continued: You feel bad for the dude because he looks like he is just totally uncomfortable being out on the greens."

As for Joe's other rumoured pal, that's a whole other kind of uncomfortable. RadarOnline called out a 21-year-old model named Bryce Chandler Hill late last week -- a dude who's reportedly gossiped about his relationship with Papa Joe up and down West Hollywood.

"Joe Simpson being outed by the National Enquirer w! as no sur! prise to the gay community in Hollywood, Bryce has been bragging about hooking up with Joe for a while now, a friend of Hill's told RadarOnline, explaining that Hill met Joe through TJ Espinoza, a former Britney Spears back-up dancer. (Espinoza is also friends with Simpson daughters Jessica and Ashlee. "TJ introduced Bryce to the Simpsons, and that's how he met Joe," the source explained.)

Bryce claims hes been dating Joe for roughly a year and absolutely loves to boast about it because he loves being the center of attention. Hes also been quick to tell anyone that will listen that hes using Joe to climb the showbiz ladder."

Forget Jessicas case of the sads. Now you have one. Or you will after reading this last scrap from RadarOnline's report:

"Tina and her daughters, Jessica and Ashlee were never at the country club, ever," the snitch told the outlet. "Joe is always there with the same guy, but he is never at MointainGate with his family. He seems like a very, very lonely person."
