American singer and actress Jessica Simpson has finally put an end to all rumors and speculations regarding her ballooning belly. On Monday, the Dukes of Hazzard celebrity posted a photo of herself dressed as a mummy, holding her rounded belly and wrote Its true. I am going to be a mummy on twitter.

The 31-year-old crooners revelation came after weeks of mounting suspicion and numerous photos of a baby bump. Simpson, who recently came under attack for weight issues, was obviously thrilled at the baby prospect. It will be the first child for Simpson and her fiance former NFL player Eric Johnson.

The couple, who began dating in May 2010, is said to be delighted with the news. According to a source close to the pair, Simpson and Johnson are thrilled to have a mini-me by their side. The Mommy-to-be is feeling great, the source told Access. And daddy Eric is incredibly excited!

Simpson, who got engaged in November 2010 and hopes to be married this Christmas, has recently signed up for the upcoming NBC reality show Fashion Star alongside Nicole Richie despite the pregnancy. There is absolutely no stopping for the soon-to-be Mrs. Eric Johnson.
