Wedding bells will ring for Jessica Simpson but only after baby cries fill her home first.

iVillage reported Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson will be tying the knot after the 31-year-old gives birth to their first child.

The two were engaged in November and recently announced (er...confirmed what everyone else already knew?) that Simpson was in fact carrying a bun in her oven.

"They're really excited [about the baby]," a source told People. "It wasn't something they planned per se, but it's also not something they were trying to avoid."

But the singer/actress' pregnancy is why the couple decided to put wedding plans on the backburner.

"They're both still really committed to getting married, and were both really into making decisions about what kind of wedding they wanted," the source added.

"It's just going to be at a later date now [because] they really want to enjoy this time in their lives."

Sources also said the couple will make great parents because "they're both very family-oriented" and have always wanted a child.

Let's get real people, the Dukes of Hazards star and fashion mogul probably also wanted to be able to wear a fabulous wedding dress and not be limited by the small selection of maternity gowns.
