Pregnant Jessica Simpson's '$4m weightloss deal in jeopardy'
Washington, Dec. 6 (ANI): Jessica Simpson could lose out on a 4 million dollar contract with a weight loss company, by getting pregnant just seven months after welcoming daughter Maxwell, it has been revealed.
According to a source, Weight Watchers executives are livid that their new spokeswoman Simpson breached their contract.
"They're furious at Jessica," Us magazine quoted the source as saying.
"She was already on thin ice with them since she didn't lose enough for the first ad, when they had to shoot from the waist up," the source said.
As a result, the 32-year-old singer's second ad campaign - celebrating a 70-pound loss - may not be aired.
"They don't think it can run. No one wants to hear about a pregnant woman dieting," the source said.
However, a friend of Simpson said that the ads will see the light of day: "It was Weight Watchers' idea to shoot her from the waist up the first time." (ANI)
