Jessica Simpson is planning to buy Ozzy Osbourne's former home.

She hopes to move in with her fiance Eric Johnson and their seven-month-old daughter Maxwell before her new baby is born.

A source told Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Jessica wants a new place as sort of a fresh start. When Eric moved into Jessica's house it was always with the understanding that they would get a new place together. Jessica's house is very shabby chic and romantic, it's just not man-friendly. So they want a new house they can decorate together - a place they can call their own."

Ozzy and his wife Sharon bought the property - which is situated in a gated community - for $12.4 million five years ago.

It also has floor-to-ceiling windows, and has examples of the couple's eccentric style such as a black spiral staircase.

Jessica became a mother for the first time in May and in November it was revealed she was expecting a younger sibling for her daughter.

Although the pregnancy wasn't planned, the 32-year-old star and retired NFL player Eric, 33, are overjoyed to be having another baby.

A source previously said: "Jessica wasn't planning the pregnancy but she's beyond happy about it. She adores being a mother and she's always wanted to have a big family so she feels totally blessed to have another baby on the way."
