After becoming a celebrity mama last month, Jessica Simpson is reportedly hitting the gym and counting the points to regain her previously svelte frame.

Simpson was spotted today leaving a gym in Los Angeles, and the star was also recently named the official spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. After helping Jennifer Hudson shed inches and pounds, we can only predict Simpson will be back in her "These Boots" cut-offs in no time.

And just how much is Simpson, 31, raking in for the Weight Watchers deal? ABC News reports the weight loss giant is paying the singer $3 million to lose the baby weight. That number certainly serves as some solid incentive. Simpson announced the deal via Twitter on May 30: "So excited to be a part of the @WeightWatchers family!"

Heavily criticized for gaining too much weight during her pregnancy, Simpson said during an interview with People, "After you have your baby, it's like, 'Oh my God, what happened to my body?' This is not me." She added, "It would be nice to feel comfortable in a bikini, but that's not my goal. I just want to fit into jeans."

People magazine's Suzanne Zuckerman said Simpson had already planned to join forces with Weight Watchers before getting pregnant. Zuckerman noted, "...she is committing to that program as soon as its healthy for her to do so." Baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson arrived two! weeks e arly via C-section on May 1 in Los Angeles, weighing in at 9 lbs. 13 ounces.

Aside from her weight loss plans, Simpson also has another project on her plate. The singer will launch a new maternity clothing line, marking the 24th line in the Jessica Simpson Collection.
