Jessica Simpson tweets first baby pic

Jessica Simpson proudly posted the first Twitter picture of her new daughter Maxwell yesterday, with the caption, "Howdy friends!"

The baby -- who looks a bit freaked out by the entire exercise -- is wearing a striped onesie and putting on a pout. Her mom's blond locks can be seen in the background.

Simpson gave birth on May 1, and made headlines for her scale-tipping size while pregnant.

According to Web site x17online, the new mom has been, "busting her buns to lose the 50lbs of baby weight she gained during pregnancy, and she's enlisted the help of celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak to give her a jump start."
