Jessica Simpson Tweets About Joys of Motherhood

Having experienced a month's worth of ups and downs as a first-time mother, Jessica Tweeted about her love for baby daughter Maxwell Wednesday night.

"I absolutely love my family. Maxwell amazes Eric and I every day with every little thing she does!" she posted to her Twitter page.

Motherhood seemed to suit Jessica very nicely from the start, as she beamed with pride over her new bundle of joy following Maxwell's arrival.

"I am so in love with baby Maxwell," the 31-year-old Tweeted briefly after her daughter's birth. "I want to cry every time I look at her."

One of the areas where Jessica's motherhood shines is through the careful selection of her daughter's wardrobe. Being the host for NBC's "Fashion Star," Jessica says that she can't help but show off her little girl wearing the latest trends.

"I'm addicted to buying headbands w massive flowers for Maxwell on etsy! She is insanely beautiful I can't help but play dress up!" the singer Tweeted back in May.
