The 31-year-old star took to Twitter, Saturday afternoon, to put rumors to rest, tweeting, To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl...I'm still pregnant!! Don't believe what you read ladies and gents.

In fact, Simpson could go into labor any day now, Daily Mail reports, so fans should hold their congrats for just a little while longer. So why is everyone congratulating Simpson if she is still pregnant?

In Touch Weekly released a story titled Inside Jessica Simpsons Dramatic Delivery, which goes on to say that after weeks of worry and many sleepless nights, she ultimately chose to schedule a C section. The magazine even quotes a "friend" saying, She desperately wanted to experience the joy of a natural birth, but decided to go with what made the most sense for her.

In Touch delves into how Simpson and husband Eric Johnson splurged on a private $500,000 birthing suite at L.A.s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The article concludes by saying after a fearful Jessica made it through the birthing process, she was awarded a present, jewelry, from her husband "which she paid for herself."

Once Simpson actually does give birth to her baby girl, she is rumored to be the new face of Weight Watchers.
