Jessica Simpson: I'm still pregnant!

Jessica Simpson has slammed reports that she has already given birth, urging fans to not believe everything they read.

"To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl," Simpson Tweeted on Saturday. "I'm still pregnant!! Don't believe what you read ladies and gents."

Earlier in the week, In Touch magazine insinuated that Simpson! had alr eady given birth with the cover story, "Inside Jessica's Dramatic Delivery," which purported to reveal the singer's first words to her daughter.

Simpson's anger is not only reserved for the constant tabloid rumors, she is also upset about having to put away her signature platform heels in favor of flats.

Simpson wrote on April 17, "I can't wait for the day I can walk in heels again! My feet feel homesick!"

The singer is expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her fianc, football player Eric Johnson. The couple got engaged on November 11, 2010.

Jessica Simpson rose to fame with the MTV show "Newlyweds," which aired between 2003 and 2005 and starred her then-husband Nicky Lachey, whose current wife, Vanessa, is also pregnant.

During a recent interview, Simpson joked that she is ready to carry her daughter, "in my arms and not my belly."

Simpson appeared nude on Elle magazine's April cover, which appears to be an homage to Demi Moore's famous 1991 Vanity Fair picture (see photos of female celebrities who have posed nude and pregnant).

Since the series, Jessica Simpson has also become known for her $1 billion fash! ion empi re. She and fellow fashion designers Nicole Richie and John Varvatos are mentors on the NBC show, "Fashion Star," which airs on Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET. Supermodel Elle Macpherson is the host.
