Nicole Richie Offers Pregnant Jessica Simpson Crash Course in Motherhood

Nicole Richie didn't have too much motherly wisdom to share with fellow Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson, but she did have another idea for helping the 31-year-old mother-to-be prep for parenthood.

"I offered for her to take my kids up until she has hers," Richie, 30, said on Access Hollywood Live Wednesday. "That didn't really work, but the offer still stands because she hasn't had her kid yet."

Simpson is currently expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson.

"If she wants to take them, go ahead," Richie joked of having Simpson temporarily raise daughter Harlow, 4, and son Sparrow, 2. "I will go to Cabo, no problem."

During the interview, Richie also opened up about her obsession with Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "I don't feel guilty about it at all, so I don't know if it's my guilty pleasure. I just love it," she raved. "I'm a big Lisa VanderPump fan."

The Winter Kate designer isn't a fan of the other Real Housewives brands, however, because "once you're in, it's such a commitment. You have to watch Watch What Happens Live later."

"You want to see what their perspective is watching the show," Richie explained. "It's a big time commitment, so I only have enough room in my heart for one at a time."

Richie will join host Andy Cohen for an episode of Watch What Happens Live in March. "Andy's a good friend of mine," Richie revealed. "I told him that I wanted to wear matching outfits, because I love his pink bowties. There's not one ounce of me that's kidding, by the way."
