Nicole Richie offers kids to Jessica Simpson to prepare for motherhood

Washington, Feb 23 (ANI): Nicole Richie has offered to loan her children to Jessica Simpson to help her prepare for her impending motherhood.

The 30-year-old beauty, who has four-year-old daughter Harlow and two-year-old son Sparrow with husband Joel Madden, felt that it would help her fellow 'Fashion Star' mentor to prepare for motherhood if she took care of the youngsters for a while, however, Simpson turned down the offer.

"I offered [Jessica] to take my kids up until she has her. That didn't really work," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Access Hollywood.

"The offer still stands because she hasn't had her kids yet. So, if she wants to take them, go ahead. No problem!" she added.

Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson are due to welcome their first child in the coming weeks. (ANI)
