Jessica Simpson is allegedly preparing to announce pregnancy

Jessica Simpson will be putting the rumors that shes pregnant to rest soon.

Radar Online reports the 31-year-old singer and fashion designer is preparing to announce that she's expecting in a magazine exclusive.

Its still early in the pregnancy, and Jessica has decided to wait before sharing her happiness with her fans, said a source close to Simpsons fiance former NFL player Eric Johnson. "But she has begun telling family and friends the exciting news."

There is no word on what publication she will use to reveal the big news.

Speculation emerged last month that Simpson was pregnant, after she was photographed wearing an oversized animal print blouse while in Mexico, prompting rumors that the star was hiding a baby bump.

Another detail that added fuel to the rumors was her refusal to take part in a champagne toast during Johnsons 32nd birthday celebration.

Additionally, on Tuesday new photos surfaced showing Simpson at LAX wearing a baggy black top and carrying a large handbag, strategically placed to partially cover her midsection.

Simpsons alleged pregnancy has taken the idea for any immediate wedding plans off the table, according to Radar Online. Simpson got engaged to Johnson last November.
