Gwyneth Paltrow 'Quitting Acting To Be More Like Jessica Simpson'

Gwyneth Paltrow might be an Academy Award winning actress, married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and counts Beyonce as one of her closest friends, but according to a new report she's jealous of Jessica Simpson and her empire.

We might have first known Simpson as a Britney-esque pop princess but she's since made a fortune with her clothing and make up line, something Us Weekly claims Gwyneth is pretty impressed by and wants to emulate herself.

The star is reportedly ready to give up her acting career to concentrate on her lifestyle website Goop and the fitness company she owns with celeb trainer Tracy Anderson.

"She admires Jessica's empire," a source told the mag, "She wants to make a killing."

"She won't quit acting. Her plan is to do one, maybe two supporting parts a year."

With the insider adding: "She's lost her passion for movies."

The actress flexed her writing skills last year when she published a cookbook, It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great, promising would be chefs a body like the 40 year-old's.

But despite her dedication to healthy eating the blonde admitted she couldn't resist chips when pregnant with her dau! ghter Apple. She said in the book: I was macrobiotic for three or four years, but when I got pregnant with Apple I wanted french fries, grilled cheese... it went out the window.
