Jessica Simpson to launch wedding dress line?

Jessica Simpson is allegedly making plans to launch her own wedding gown line, it has been reported.

The pop singer has created a large fashion empire with a line of clothes, handbags, and shoes sold in over 650 department stores across the United States.

A source close to Simpson tells In Touch Weekly that she now plans to create her own range of designs to coincide with her upcoming nuptials later this year.

The source said: "A wedding line is something she's always wanted to do."

Daniel Musto, a stylist on Simpson's reality show Fashion Star, added that the style of the designer's own wedding dress will prove crucial for the success of a wedding gown line.

"If she does something that's going to be memorable for decades, her wedding line is going to be successful because girls will want to mimic it," he revealed.

Simpson, who gave birth to her first child in May, released a special maternity line to coincide with her pregnancy.
