Jessica Simpson can't wait for baby boy

We hope Jessica Simpson's son likes leather, because his mom has stocked up.

The 32-year-old singer/TV personality ripped into boyish gifts at her baby shower over the weekend, telling People magazine that she's more than ready to welcome a bit more testosterone into her home, which also includes her fianc, Eric Johnson, and their 11-month-old daughter, Maxwell.

"I'm so excited to have a son," Simpson said. "He got all these cute vintage cars and I got a lot of little leather jackets I can't wait to try out!"

The "Fashion Star" mentor accidentally revealed that she and Johnson are expecting a boy on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in March, and a month later hosted a Tom Sawyer-themed baby shower in Los Angeles.

At the party, which boasted a grilled cheese station and Southern fare like fried chicken, little Maxwell got excited for her brother's arrival in her own way: "She was taking over some of her little brother's gifts!" Simpson said.

Part of the reason Simpson's so thrilled to have a boy is because growing up, it was just her and her sister, Ashlee.

"I didn't grow up with a brother and I think the unknown is really exciting," she said. "I can't wait to have that connection with our little man."
